The four main Armored Riders in the series from left to right: Zangetsu, Ryugen, Gaim and Baron TV Show Kamen Rider Gaim But while adamant to obtain the Golden Fruit to save the world, Kouta's goal involves him having a predestined confrontation with Kaito who desires the fruit's power to shatter the status quo of the world. He must fight the sudden appearance of the Inves, but also against other the armored-Kamen Riders known as Armored Riders, effectively becoming a Sengoku period-like conflict for only one victor to prove themselves that they have the right to possess the power of the Helheim Forest, the proverbial forbidden fruit.
#KAMEN RIDER FLASH HENSHIN DRIVER#
Kouta Kazuraba, a young man who recently quit his dance crew Team Gaim (to help his sister Akira Kazuraba), finds a special Lockseed and the Sengoku Driver to become an Armored Rider, named Armored Rider Gaim. Along with this is a popular game that uses the mysterious Lockseeds that contain mysterious monsters called Inves that are said to come from another dimension.Īs the game becomes more popular, tears in reality begin to open that bring the Inves from their home dimension to Earth.
To escape the feeling of being under castle authority, dance crews were formed by young people to bring joy back to the public. Urobuchi was also fascinated with the idea of Cross of Fire and ensured that both Kouta and Kaito would be the final contenders but still suffer from the consequences of eating the fruit regardless of the winner, while drawing elements from the Kamen Rider Black manga series.īecause of the large company, Yggdrasill Corporation setting up shop in the once bustling city of Zawame ( 沢芽市, Zawame-shi) the community started to become more like a jōkamachi ( 城下町, castle town). Furthermore, the Forbidden Fruit drew inspiration from the fruit as written in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. Series writer Gen Urobuchi was asked to revisit the darker elements of past series, and introduced the idea of Beat Riders as a scapegoat to distract viewers from the themes shown in the show's latter half. The orange was chosen to be Gaim's default form due to the fruit's popularity with children, and its color to differentiate from Wizard's red. To differentiate from the previous series Wizard, several different design motifs such as fruits and heavy armor inspired by both Western and Chinese cultures were added. Kamen Rider (1971) is available to stream on Shout!FactoryTV and Tubi.
Hayato is great in the first episode-and barely in the second. Next is the asymmetrical Fiddler Crabking, who’s tougher than his name suggests. First is the ridiculously freaky Mosquillas, who sucks your blood and reduces you to a crucified skeleton. (But a Kamen Rider musical would be amazing!) This week, it’s one of Travis and Nathan’s favorite things: Double Riders! Yes, in a two-part episode, Hayato returns to help Hongo fight a pair of Shocker kaijin at a hot spring (because Team Rider went on vacation…again).
With an episode title like that, you’d think this would be a musical, but alas, all you get are music references.
